This roundtable brings together a small group of leaders from insurance, finance, agribusiness and data to discuss how we can strengthen UK agricultural resilience in the face of growing climate risk.
Building on an initial ministerial discussion last year, the session will explore a proposed cross-sector workstream focused on unlocking investment and insurance solutions through better data, risk understanding and coordination.
We are pleased to confirm that Dame Angela Eagle, Minister of State at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, will join the discussion.
The conversation will be informal and discussion-led, with the aim of shaping next steps together and identifying opportunities for collaboration.
